چکیده

The purpose of the study was to determine combined efficacy feed additives on growing pigs, performance and digestive tract parameters. experiment conducted for 28 days with 48 male piglets allocated six dietary treatments. Group 1 offered a diet without eubiotic; 2 – acids mixture; 3 phytobiotic, medium-chain fatty (MCFA) yeast; 4 probiotic, MCFA, 5 mixture, sodium butyrate; 6 butyrate. average daily weight gains intake were recorded. Blood samples, digesta ileal tissue samples collected studies. There no significant difference (p>0.05) in gain, intake, or FCR among treatments as well caecal pH value, microbial content, total SCFA content level inclusion increases. However, there treatment condition 4. Ammonia significantly higher compared other groups group comparison 2. Villi height (p<0.05) 2, control. crypt depth ratio but most promising effects seem be from combinations In control: Alanine transaminase, glucose triglyceride; 3, protein cholesterol; albumin BUN, found. Generally, it concluded that; used eubiotic preparations have effect gut morphology, growth performance, microbiota some blood parameters smaller ration. It therefore recommended that feeds should included pigs ration if desirable is determined.

The fate of dietary phosphorus in the digestive tract of growing pigs and broilers

The reduction of the phosphorus (P) content in the diet without affecting performance is an environmental and economic concern for sustainable pig and poultry production that requires precise knowledge of P requirement and its availability. A prerequisite is thus a good understanding of the fate of ingested P in the digestive tract, according to its origin (phytic, non phytic, mineral), its int...

Modeling the fate of dietary phosphorus in the digestive tract of growing pigs.

Environmental effects of excess P from manure and the soaring price of phosphates are major issues in pig production. To optimize P utilization, it is crucial to improve our capacity to predict the amount of P absorbed, while taking into account the main factors of variation. Mathematical modeling can represent the complexity of the processes and interactions in determining the digestive utiliz...

Effect of fermented biogas residue on growth performance, serum biochemical parameters, and meat quality in pigs

OBJECTIVE This study investigated the effect of fermented biogas residue (FBR) of wheat on the performance, serum biochemical parameters, and meat quality in pigs. METHODS We selected 128 pigs (the mean initial body weight was 40.24±3.08 kg) and randomly allocated them to 4 groups (1 control group and 3 treatment groups) with 4 replicates per group and 8 pigs per pen in a randomized complete ...

Effects of Physical Size of Clinoptilolite on Growth Performance, Serum Biochemical Parameters and Litter Quality of Broiler Chickens in the Growing Phase

A total of 448 Ross 308 male broiler chickens were assigned to seven treatments with four replicates, each containing 16 chicks. The birds were reared from d 21 to 42 and effects of physical sizes (ad libitum by a basal commercial broiler diet with 3050 Kcal/Kg ME and 19.06% CP/Kg from 21 to 42 d. The chickens which received clinoptilolite (1.5% with particle size of 0.4-0.8 mm) showed a signif...

Protozoa and digestive tract parameters of the impala.

Intestinal contents were collected from eight impala at three different localities during the winter hunting season (2005-2009), as well as from another 24 animals from a one-year trial at a game farm called Ditholo (2003-2004). Gas production, protozoa counts and several other physiological parameters were measured from both rumen and caecum or colon contents. Only higher ophryoscolecid an...
